AI visibility for SEO and marketing agencies: a number per client, every week

AI visibility for an agency is knowing, for each client, how often ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers name them when a buyer asks what to buy, and which pages those answers read instead. Picked asks the questions every day, keeps the history for each client, and writes the article for the ones they lose.

Picked is an AI visibility tool for SEO and marketing agencies, and B2B SaaS teams. Every day it asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers the prompts your buyers ask, records which brands and pages they name, and writes the article built to become the source they quote.

The problem

Why do agencies need an AI visibility tool?

Your client saw a competitor in ChatGPT and forwarded you the screenshot at 11pm. Now you need an answer that isn't "AI is random". Google's own guide to its AI features says optimizing for them is still SEO, so the work is familiar. What's missing is the number, and that is the job of an AI visibility tool.

  1. A number per client

Share of answers that name the client, per AI model, per week. Something to put on the report and defend on the call.

  2. A reason, not just a rank

For every prompt a client loses, Picked shows who is named instead and which pages the answer read. That list is the work plan.

  3. A fix you can bill for

On Growth and Scale, a lost prompt becomes a brief, an article and a pull request for the client's site, and nothing goes live until someone says yes.

What you get

What does Picked show for each client?

A client's questions and where to find the answer to them in the dashboard:

  • "Are we in ChatGPT?"

Prompts: the share of answers naming the client, per AI model
  • "Who is?"

Brands: every competitor tracked, and how often each is named
  • "Why them and not us?"

A prompt's sources: the pages the AI cited, and whether the client is on them
  • "What are you doing about it?"

Content Gaps and Articles: the prompts lost, and the article written for one
  • "Is the AI even reading our site?"

Analytics: which AI crawlers opened which pages, and which were turned away
  • "Can we have it for the monthly deck?"

Reports (Scale): the month as a three-page PDF, in your agency's name, logo and colour

Every prompt has its own address, so a link can stand in for a screenshot. When the client wants a document, Reports prints the same numbers as a PDF with your note on page one. Picked's name isn't on it. Every screen is on what Picked does.

Per-seat pricing is a tax on agencies.
An agency's AI visibility work touches account managers, writers, SEOs and the client. Charging per login means people share passwords or stay out. Picked has unlimited team seats on every plan: you pay for prompts and AI models, the things that cost us money.

Set-up

How does an agency run Picked across clients?

  1. 1

    One project per client

A project is a tracked brand with its own prompts, competitors and dashboard. Sign in once and switch between clients.

  2. 2

Add the prompts the client's buyers ask

"Best X for Y", "X vs Y", "alternatives to X". Ten good ones beat fifty vague ones. The client's own sales team knows them.

  3. 3

Choose the AI models the client's buyers use

ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews are where most start; the pricing page says how many models each plan includes.

  4. 4

    Read the first run together

It runs straight away and is the starting line. Zero is a normal first number.

  5. 5

    Fix the prompts that matter

Open one, read its sources, and start an article from Content Gaps. The docs walk through each step.

  6. 6

    Send the link every week

Answers change daily, so the trend over weeks is what you report, not one day.

Every plan has unlimited team seats: the account manager, the writer and the client's marketing lead can each have a login.

Pitching a new client? The free AI visibility check asks two questions about their category on ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews and shows who gets named instead. One site a day.

Our data

What does a client see when nobody names them?

We track two products we run, LaunchOnIt and Leado, so we know what the first run looks like. On September 27 and 28, 2026 their 10 buyer questions went to five AI models: 70 answers. None of them named LaunchOnIt or Leado.

  • 70

    Answers recorded

  • 0

    Answers naming LaunchOnIt or Leado

  • 105

    61%

Brands named by one model only (LaunchOnIt, four models)

  • 227

    91%

Cited sites cited by one model only (LaunchOnIt, four models)

The models rarely agree: not one site was cited by all four models for the same question on the same day. So report per AI model, not one blended number. A client who wins on ChatGPT can be missing from Google's AI Overviews. LLM SEO covers how each model picks its sources.

When not to

When Picked won't fit an agency

Honest answer: sometimes this isn't worth your time.

  • You need a read-only login for clients

A client can have a seat, but there's no view-only role yet: a member can use everything except billing and team settings. Until there is, send the PDF report or a link.

  • You manage more client brands than a plan has projects

Each client is a project, and the counts are on the pricing page. Above the largest plan, write to us about an Enterprise setup.

  • A client's buyers don't ask AI

A local plumber, a walk-in trade: classic local SEO pays better. Don't pay to watch an empty room.

  • A client wants a guarantee

Nobody controls what a model says tomorrow. Anyone who promises a spot in ChatGPT is guessing with the client's money.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Short answers, each one checked against the product as built or the docs we link to.

Yes. Every plan has unlimited team seats, so a client's marketing lead can have a login next to your team. There is no client-only, read-only role yet: a member can use everything except billing and team settings.

One project per client brand. How many projects each plan includes is on the pricing page. If you manage more brands than the largest plan allows, write to [email protected].

Yes, on Scale. Reports prints a client's last month (or last 7, 30 or 90 days) as a three-page PDF: share of AI answers and its change, rank among the brands named, each AI model, the prompts won and lost, and the sources the answers cite. It carries your agency's name, logo and colour, plus your note on page one. Picked's name isn't on it.

A rank tracker follows a keyword's position in ten links. AI visibility follows whether a written answer names your client, in what position, and which pages it cites. The answer changes from run to run, so Picked asks every day and shows the share over weeks.

All three name the same work: getting a client named in AI answers and their pages cited. Clients ask for GEO (generative engine optimization), AEO (answer engine optimization) or AI SEO depending on the last article they read. Whatever you call the service, Picked is the measuring part: the share of answers that name the client, the pages those answers cite, and an article for the prompts they lose.

On Growth and Scale, yes: a lost prompt becomes a brief you approve, a draft, a fact-check and a pull request on the client's site repository, or a Markdown or HTML export for sites that aren't on GitHub. Nothing is published until someone merges it.

ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode, with each plan including some of them. Claude is asked less often; the others daily.
