Team, projects and plans
Company and project
A company is your account. It holds the plan, the billing and the team. A project is one brand you track, with its own prompts, competitors, AI models and dashboard.
Projects share the company's plan and prompt allowance. Agencies usually make one project per client. How many projects and prompts a plan includes is on the pricing page.
How many projects you can have
Each plan has a project limit, and it is on the pricing page. Only owners and admins can delete a project.
If you move to a smaller plan, the plan's oldest projects keep running and the newer ones pause. Nothing is deleted. Move back up and they start again.
More than one company
You can belong to several companies, for example your own and a client's that invited you. Switch between them from the project picker at the top of the sidebar. You see only the company you have open.
To start a second company of your own, pick a plan for the first one. Until it has a plan, you can't make another.
To rename a company, open Settings, then Company, under Company settings. The name shows in the project picker and on invitations. Only owners and admins can change it.
Team seats
Every plan has unlimited team seats. Add as many colleagues, writers and clients as you like. You pay for prompts and AI models, not for logins.
To add someone:
- Open Settings, then Members, under Company settings.
- Enter their email and pick a role: Member or Admin.
- Send the invite by email, or copy the invite link and send it yourself.
An invite works for 48 hours. They sign in with the email you invited, or create an account with it, and land in your company. You can cancel a pending invite from the same page, and send a new one if it ran out.
For agencies, this is the point of unlimited seats: add a client's marketing lead as a member and they can read the dashboard without costing you anything extra. If a client should not change prompts or settings, send a white-label report instead.
Who can change what
| Role | Can do |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything. Every company has one |
| Admin | The same as the owner: the team, the plan and billing, report branding, the company name and deleting projects |
| Member | Sees and works in every project: prompts, competitors, AI models, analytics, crawlers, articles and project settings |
Owners and admins invite people, remove them and change their roles from the Members page. A company always keeps an owner, and an owner's role can't be changed there.
Members can't see billing. The Billing page tells them an owner or admin manages it.
Plans
Plans differ in how much Picked does for you, not in seats:
- How many brands you track (projects).
- How many prompts you track, shared across projects.
- How many AI models are asked for each project.
- Articles a month. Starter has none.
- White-label client reports. Scale only.
Every plan can be paid monthly or yearly. The pricing page has the current numbers and prices.
Prompts are a monthly allowance
Your plan's prompt count is how many you can track in a calendar month (UTC), across every project. If you remove a prompt, its slot stays used until the month ends, so removing and re-adding prompts does not give you extra room. Deleting a project works the same way for its prompts. On the 1st, the removed ones stop counting.
Billing & usage shows how many prompts you're using out of the plan's allowance.
Which AI models run
Each project picks its AI models in Settings, under AI models. When you pick more than your plan includes, Picked keeps them in this order and asks the first ones your plan covers:
- ChatGPT
- Google AI Overviews
- Google AI Mode
- Gemini
- Perplexity
- Claude
Claude is asked less often, the others every day. The dashboard shows how often each model is asked.
Changing plan
Owners and admins change plan from Settings, Billing & usage, under Company settings. Manage billing opens the payment portal, where you change plan, update the card and read invoices. It opens after your first checkout.
The new limits apply as soon as the change goes through:
- Moving up: more prompts, projects and AI models straight away. Paused projects start again.
- Moving down: the oldest projects keep running and the newer ones pause, and each project's AI models are trimmed to what the plan includes, in the order above. Nothing is deleted.
If a payment fails
Billing & usage shows "Your last payment didn't go through". Update the card in the payment portal to keep tracking.
Cancelling
Cancel from the payment portal. The plan stays until the end of the period you paid for. After that the daily runs stop, and the dashboard asks you to pick a plan again before it opens. Your projects, prompts and answers stay, so picking a plan starts from where you left off.
Refunds are covered in the refund policy.
Reports for clients
On Scale, Reports in the sidebar makes a client report as a PDF in your agency's name, logo and colour. Picked's name appears nowhere in it.
- Set your branding once. Settings, then Report branding, under Company settings: your name, a contact line for the footer (your site, an email, a phone), your colour and your logo (PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG, up to 512 KB). Only owners and admins can change it.
- Pick the period: last month, or the last 7, 30 or 90 days.
- Write your note. It goes on page one, signed by you, up to 600 characters.
- Read the preview. It is the PDF, drawn live as you type.
- Download the PDF. Recent reports stay on the page to download again.
The report covers the project's share of answers and how it moved, its rank against the brands you track, each AI model, the prompts won and lost, and the sites the answers cited. With crawler analytics connected, a fourth page shows which AI crawlers read the site.
Emails you get
- Invites, when someone adds you to a company.
- The weekly report, Mondays: how your share moved. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe, and it stops only your copy.
Leaving
To remove someone, an owner or admin removes them from Members. They lose access to the company straight away.
Deleting a company isn't in Settings, so a company with a paid plan can't disappear while it is still being charged. Write to us and we'll do it.
Recommending Picked
If you'd recommend Picked to another agency or team, the affiliate program pays you a share of every payment they make, renewals included. It is run through Lemon Squeezy, and you don't need a Picked plan to join.
Getting help
Write to [email protected], or use Support in the sidebar. It is one inbox, for support, sales and everything else, and a person reads it.
