A Peec AI alternative that writes the article, not just the brief
The best Peec AI alternative depends on what you want to change. If you want the tool to write the article for a prompt you lose and open it as a pull request, that's Picked. For a lower price, Otterly.AI. For an enterprise contract, Profound. If you already pay for Semrush, its AI toolkit. And if you track outside the US or in other languages, stay on Peec AI: Picked asks in US English only.
Picked is an AI visibility tool for SEO and marketing agencies, and B2B SaaS teams. Every day it asks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers the prompts your buyers ask, records which brands and pages they name, and writes the article built to become the source they quote.

The short answer
Which Peec AI alternative should you pick?
Pick by the thing Peec AI doesn't do for you. Every tool here asks AI models your buyers' questions and records who gets named, so the tracking itself is close. The differences are price, which AI models you get, and what happens once you know you're losing.

Starter: Peec AI gives you more answers
Three AI models against two means 4,500 answers a month against up to 3,000. If all you need is a tracker for one brand, Peec's entry plan asks more for the money.
Growth and Scale: Picked asks four models, not three
That's up to 18,000 answers a month on Growth against Peec Pro's 13,500, about $11.06 per 1,000 answers. Picked says "up to" because Claude is asked less often than the others, so a plan with Claude asks a little less.
The same on both
Unlimited users on every plan, prompts shared across the projects on your account, every prompt asked daily (Claude less often on Picked), and AI crawler analytics that show which bots read your pages.
Annual billing and trials
Peec AI takes 15% off for annual billing and offers a free trial. Picked's yearly plans are ten months' price for twelve. Picked has no trial: the free AI visibility check asks two AI models about your brand before you pay, and the first payment can be refunded in full within 3 days.
Tracking without writing is a smoke alarm with no extinguisher.
After the gap
What happens when you lose a prompt?
This is the real difference. Both tools show a prompt you lose, who is named instead and which pages the answer cited. Then they split.
Peec AI has Actions: a list of fixes ranked by expected impact, grouped into site audit, owned and earned, each with the evidence behind it and a brief. You accept one, do the work, and mark it done. It's a good to-do list, and you still write the page.
Picked, on Growth and Scale, writes it. The steps, and where you say yes:
- 1
Research
Picked reads the pages the AI models cited for the prompt, Google's top results and your own site.
- 2
Brief
An angle, an outline, the facts it will use and the competitors it will name. You approve or edit it before any writing.
- 3
Draft
The first sentence answers the prompt in words a model can quote whole.
- 4
Rewrite pass
A second pass flags lines that read like AI wrote them and rewrites them. You approve each rewrite.
- 5
Visuals
Numbers with a source become a chart or table, in your brand colour.
- 6
Fact-check
A claim with no source on your site or a public page is cut, with a note.
- 7
Pull request
Picked opens it on your site's GitHub repository. You review and merge. Not on GitHub? Export the article as Markdown or HTML.
After that, the prompt keeps running, so you see whether the AI models start naming you and citing the new page. The whole process, step by step, is in how Picked writes an article.
AI models
Which AI models does each one ask?
Peec AI
On Starter, Pro and Advanced you choose 3 from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Perplexity comes as a paid extra model. Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and others are on Enterprise, up to 13 models, and Peec's own table marks which of them are read through the API.
Picked
You choose 2 (Starter) or 4 (Growth and Scale) from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode. None costs extra. ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Overviews and AI Mode are read as the real product shows them to a person; Perplexity and Claude through their APIs with web search on, and the dashboard says so next to the number.
What Peec AI covers that Picked doesn't
Microsoft Copilot and Naver AI, AI shopping results per product, the ads that appear in AI answers, and brand perception (the objections AI raises against you, checked against facts you set).
For agencies
Is Picked a Peec AI alternative for an agency?
Peec AI has agency plans that run on credits: Essential at €205 a month for 111 prompts, Growth at €425 for 277, Scale at €675 for 722, with client logins, pitch projects for prospects and client dashboards shared by link.
Picked has no separate agency plans. Scale covers 5 brands at $499 a month, with 25 articles a month and white-label client reports: the month as a three-page PDF in your agency's name, logo and colour, with Picked's name nowhere on it. Seats are unlimited, so the whole team works in it without a per-login bill.
If you manage more than five clients, Peec's agency Scale plan covers more of them today. If your clients pay you to fix what you find, the articles are the part a tracker can't bill for. More on AI visibility for agencies.
When Picked isn't the right Peec AI alternative
You track outside the US
Picked asks every question from the US in English. Peec AI tracks other countries and languages; stay there.
You need Copilot, Naver or AI shopping
Picked doesn't ask Microsoft Copilot or Naver, and doesn't track products one by one.
Your data goes into other tools
Peec AI has an API, an MCP server, a Looker Studio connector and single sign-on. Picked has none of those yet.
You want to try it before paying
Peec AI has a free trial. Picked has the free check and a 3-day refund, not a trial.
You have writers and only want direction
If your team writes every page itself, Peec's Actions may be all you need, and Starter asks more AI models for the money.
Other options
Three more Peec AI alternatives
Otterly.AI, the cheapest start
Lite costs $29 a month for 15 prompts, checked daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot, with unlimited team members. Claude, Google AI Mode and Gemini are paid add-ons; Standard is $189 for 100 prompts. Otterly pricing
Profound, for enterprise brands
The public offer is a free trial: 50 prompts, run daily for 7 days, on ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews. Paid plans are custom packages with no public price. We compared it with Picked in Picked vs Profound.
Semrush, if you already use it
AI visibility is part of the "SEO + AI Search" plans: Starter is $199 a month for 50 prompts on one domain, next to regular rank tracking. Extra users cost from $45 a month each. Semrush pricing
Ten tools side by side, with the price per 1,000 answers for each, are in our comparison of AI visibility tools.
Sources
How we checked
- Peec AI: its pricing page, agency pricing and Actions documentation, read on September 30, 2026. Prices as the page showed them, in euros, monthly billing. Answers a month are Peec's own figures.
- Picked: its own pricing page. "Answers a month" is prompts × AI models × 30 days, the most a plan can ask; a plan with Claude asks a little less.
- Otterly.AI, Profound, Semrush: their pricing pages, read on September 30, 2026.
- Not tested: we didn't buy Peec AI and run the same prompts on both. This compares what each vendor states. We make Picked, so read the table, not our adjectives.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
Short answers, each one checked against the product as built or the docs we link to.
Peec AI's pricing page showed Starter at €85 a month for 50 prompts, Pro at €205 for 150 and Advanced at €425 for 350, each on 3 AI models, on September 30, 2026. Enterprise is custom. Agency plans run from €205 to €675 a month. Annual billing takes 15% off.
Only on Enterprise. Starter, Pro and Advanced choose 3 models from ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. Picked includes Claude as one of the six models on every plan, asked less often than the others because its answers cost more.
Otterly.AI's Lite plan is $29 a month for 15 prompts. For the same 50 prompts, Picked Starter is $89 a month on 2 AI models against Peec AI's €85 on 3.
Picked, on Growth and Scale: it writes the article for a prompt you lose, runs a rewrite pass and a fact-check, and opens a pull request on your site's GitHub repository. Growth includes 10 articles a month, Scale 25. Nothing goes live until you merge it.
No. The free AI visibility check shows what two AI models say about your brand, without an account, and the first payment for any plan can be refunded in full within 3 days.
